Is a bespoke booking engine better for AI visibility?

Early observations suggest it may help. In one client's comparison of two properties, the hotel with a bespoke booking engine appeared to perform better on AI visibility, page indexing and bookings from organic search. Results vary by property.

Does Data First support the standard Agilysys booking engine?

Yes. Data First supports properties running the standard Agilysys booking engine, alongside bespoke builds, covering integrations, tracking and ongoing development.

What can Agilysys PMS be integrated with?

Data First builds integrations between Agilysys and booking engines, CMS platforms, spa systems, CRM, payment gateways and building systems. At SeaSpace, Agilysys room status controls heating through an IoT device to reduce energy use.

Can rooms, packages and spa treatments be booked in one journey?

Yes. A Data First booking engine is built around the property's own rooms, packages, spa treatments and rates, with transparent total pricing and two steps or fewer to payment.

Which payment methods are supported?

Booking engines built by Data First support Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal through the property's chosen payment gateway.

Does Data First work with hotel groups as well as independents?

Yes. Data First works with independent hotels, spas and resorts and with multi-property groups. The Hiddenwell CMS manages content at group and property level across a growing collection.

Is design included?

Data First develops, builds and supports. Design and marketing stay with the property's own team or agency, and Data First works alongside them, as on Park House Hotel with Triggerfish.

What happens after launch?

A Data First Support Contract keeps the platform maintained, with options for priority response and scheduled support hours.
